Joggen in Velbert - Die schönsten Strecken Quer durch den Park

Enjoy the landscape and clear your head. One step at a time. After a successful jog, enjoy a cool drink on the sun terrace. If you are looking for picturesque jogging routes, Herminghauspark and its surroundings offer three perfect routes for runners of all abilities. Each route impresses with its combination of beautiful nature and optimal running conditions. Our smallest route (1.9 km.) takes you through the Hermi park, past the various highlights of the park, such as the children's playground and the petting zoo. This route is ideal for beginners and occasional runners. For runners looking for a somewhat greater challenge, our medium route (4.6 km), which takes you under the Saubrücke bridge, is just the thing. This route also takes you partly through the beautiful Herminghauspark. From there, the route takes you under the Saubrücke or Eulenbachbrücke bridges and past the babbling Rinderbach stream. Our longest route (8 km) takes you to the Abtsküche. Always along the Rinderbach stream, the Strecker takes you right through the Herminghauspart, past the Saubrücke bridge and through the most beautiful countryside to the Abtsküche. Along the way, you will experience marvellous views of historic bridges and the surrounding countryside. Regardless of which route you choose, you can expect well-maintained paths, breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside and a beautiful landscape around Herminghauser Park.
